The Green Meadow Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Math Interventionist to support students in Kindergarten through Grade 3 who need additional assistance in developing foundational math skills. The ideal candidate will use evidence‑based strategies to provide targeted instruction, support assessment processes, and use data to drive instructional decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide small‑group and individualized math instruction both within the classroom and in pull‑out settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support in‑class interventions and differentiated instruction
- Assist in the administration of universal screeners, diagnostic assessments, and progress monitoring tools
- Support the assessment process, including data collection, organization, and interpretation
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to data reporting for student progress and intervention outcomes
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans aligned with grade‑level standards
- Use data to adjust instruction and monitor student growth over time
- Participate in MTSS meetings and collaborate with educators and service providers
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license (PreK–3 or Elementary)
- Experience working with early learners in math instruction or intervention
- Knowledge of early numeracy development and math learning progressions
- Familiarity with MTSS/RTI frameworks and data‑driven instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience delivering both in‑class and pull‑out interventions
- Familiarity with assessment tools and data systems (e.g., MAP Growth)
- Background in special education, ESL, or early intervention
- Ability to differentiate instruction in varied settings (classroom and intervention spaces)
- Strong data analysis and organizational skills
- Effective collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Flexibility, patience, and commitment to student success
Salary is $51,396 to $72,087 per year.
