Elementary Art Teacher – Grades PK to 3, Full‑time, Salary: $51,396 to $69,141 per year.

Green Meadow Elementary is searching for teachers who bring joy, creativity, and heart to the classroom. We encourage new teachers, and Spanish or Portuguese speaking teachers, to apply.

Two‑day New Teacher Orientation:
August 24–25.

First day of school:
August 28.

• Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
• Plan well‑structured lessons that provide varied learning experiences to meet student needs.
• Guide and counsel students with adjustments and/or academic problems.
• Use strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff.
• Meet with parents and guardians to discuss children’s progress and determine their priorities and resource needs.
• Collaborate well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment (including Universally Designed Learning), and instructional strategies.
• Evaluate student progress, including report cards and creating Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary.

• Must be Massachusetts DESE Certified in Visual Arts, PK‑8.
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
• Offer of employment contingent upon satisfactory criminal‑record check and suitability determination.

Salary is based on the Teachers Union contract salary grid according to level of education and years of experience. Current range: $51,396 to $69,141 per year.
