Your ImpactDrawing from your industry experience, you'll be an essential member of the Operations Test Engineering organization and a key contributor in the deployment of manufacturing test strategies for optical transceiver subassemblies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end development and deployment of test solutions for PCBA subassembly hardware from initial fixturing to formal handoff to sustaining team and contract manufacturer.
Collaborate closely with Hardware and Mechanical Engineering teams to identify and resolve design issues related to product and evaluation hardware.
Use LabVIEW and Python to create and optimize automated test scripts to support test automation.
Participate in regression testing of product firmware, and evaluation host software validation.
Troubleshoot product sub-assemblies, evaluation boards, thermal fixtures, and process fixtures to ensure readiness for new product platforms.
Generate test instructions and fixturing concepts; train contract manufacturing team during product deployment and debug.
2 or 4-year technology degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or other relevant focus area.
At least two years of relevant manufacturing industry experience
Experience in troubleshooting PCBA assemblies, as well as thermal and mechanical fixturing
Familiarity with rack-mounted test equipment including communication protocols for automated control such as I2C and SPI
Experience with standard debugging equipment such as DVM's and Oscilloscopes.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related major.
Experience in high volume offshore manufacturing with focus in Optics, RF and/or electronic testing
Familiarity with revision control platforms and systems such as Agile or Omnify.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing workflows, GR&R, SPC, and process control-related statistical analysis
Experience with test, deployment, and troubleshooting of manufacturing evaluation platforms
Python or LabVIEW proficiency
Fixture design experience using Solid Works
