Role Overview:
The shader compiler team seeks an Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated performance testing for compiler development. You will help detect performance regressions early and support data-driven compiler optimization through fast, reliable, and reproducible tests.

• Develop and maintain automation pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
• Write and maintain automation scripts on Windows
• Automate compiler performance testing across workloads (PIX, GFXR, game benchmarks, internal traces)
• Integrate ML, GPU, and graphics workloads into regression testing
• Collect, analyze, and report performance results across hardware and compiler versions
• Collaborate with compiler, performance, and infrastructure teams

• 3+ years in Computer Science or related field
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Python scripting
• Strong experience in Windows environments
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and performance testing

• Compiler performance analysis, GPU programming, or ML workloads
• Familiarity with video game or graphics pipelines
• Experience with performance profiling/benchmarking tools
• C/C++ experience
