We are seeking a Dev Sec Ops Engineer to design, build, secure, and deploy containerized microservices in a classified environment supporting mission‑critical systems. This high‑visibility, high‑impact role is for an engineer passionate about cloud architecture, security, and automation. The ideal candidate will support FedRAMP readiness, authorization, and compliance activities, helping ensure systems are architected and implemented in alignment with federal security requirements from the ground up.
This role will also help strengthen a Dev Sec Ops culture by integrating best practices into existing engineering workflows. The position requires eligibility to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance and is on‑site in Maynard, MA.
- Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines
- Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of containerized applications
- Build and maintain secure, scalable cloud‑based infrastructure and services
- Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools
- Identify, assess, and remediate security risks across systems, applications, and workflows
- Monitor system health, reliability, and performance, recommending improvements where needed
- Document tools, processes, architectures, and best practices to support operational excellence
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to support FedRAMP and broader compliance initiatives
- Active Secret Clearance is highly preferred; US Citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Dev Sec Ops , cloud engineering, or related roles
- Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Bash, Python, or Power Shell)
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with security scanning tools (Trivy)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation)
- Ensure compliance with federal security frameworks and standards including NIST 800‑53, RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, and Zero Trust architectures
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools including Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills
- Experience supporting space systems, missile defense, or aerospace programs
- Familiarity with DoD Dev Sec Ops reference architectures and ecosystems
- Professional Cloud Architect certifications
- Experience with hybrid networking environments and enterprise‑grade container orchestration platforms
