These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed: days, evenings, weekends, and/or online. Qualified applicants may be contacted for an interview and asked to submit further documentation.
Job DutiesAdjunct positions provide instruction and familiarize students with the specific areas of study. They also deliver technical instruction, imparting background, knowledge, and basic skills needed to function effectively on the job. Preferred candidates would be able to teach at various levels to help support their programs. Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, and have an in-depth understanding of the principles in their discipline or field.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree (Nursing, Nurse Aid) with 2 years of related work experience or an Associate's Degree with 4 years of related work experience (Clinical Laboratory Technology, Medical Assisting, Respiratory Care Technology) in the teaching discipline with demonstrated competencies required. Licensure is required.
- Experience using Blackboard (or a similar learning management system) is recommended.
