Travel RN - Telemetry - Intermediate Care

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) / Progressive Care Step-Down position in Maysville, KY, requiring at least 2 years of cardiac experience and night shift availability.

Job Details

• Progressive Care Step-Down unit in an acute care hospital setting,

• General and cardiac patient population, adult and geriatric,

• 12-bed Intermediate Care Unit (2nd floor),

• Patient ratio of 4:1,

• Floating required to Telemetry and Critical Care at times,

• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,

• 36 hours per week,

• Every other weekend required,

• No on-call requirements,

• EMR: MEDITECH MEDHOST,

Job Requirements

• Active KY or Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RQI certifications are not accepted),

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Cardiac nursing experience required,

• Experience removing post-cath sheaths/stents is a plus,

• Social Security number required for consideration,

• Date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• 13-week contract,

• Royal blue scrubs required,

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible,

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible,

• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
