About the RoleMeadowview Regional Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with facilities coast to coast. As an IMC Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you are dedicated to making communities healthier. You will apply the nursing process in direct patient care in a 14-bed unit.
Responsibilities- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
- Floats to other departments as needed to maintain safe nurse‑to‑patient ratios.
- Manages ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP, vapotherms.
- Titrates and maintains critical drips on ICU patients, understanding indications, contraindications, and side effects.
- Passes a rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire.

Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within one month of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.
