As an IMC Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you are dedicated to making communities healthier. You will apply the nursing process in direct patient care in a 14-bed unit.

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Floats to other departments as needed to maintain safe nurse‑to‑patient ratios.
• Manages ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP, vapotherms.
• Titrates and maintains critical drips on ICU patients, understanding indications, contraindications, and side effects.
• Passes a rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire.

Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.

• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) required within one month of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.
