Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics clinic, you will be part of a team that prioritizes the well‑being of both patients and staff, working toward making communities healthier.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments; document patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate with disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and families; provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Obtain insurance re‑authorizations for testing and scheduled procedures.

• Current Kentucky or compact‑state RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school; bachelor's preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (within 1 month of hire);
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (within 6 months);
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (within 6 months).
