Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Surgery

Full Time | Days manual.

Shifts:

4 days, 10 hour shifts.

Meadowview Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an experienced RN to provide outpatient surgical nursing in a supportive, community‑focused environment. The role requires dedication to patient care, collaboration with the surgical team, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care, monitor patient condition, and communicate with the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
