Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Clinic (Wound Care) – Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Location:

Maysville, Kentucky.

The LPN will provide direct patient care and assist in wound management within a multidisciplinary team. The role is supervised by an RN or physician and involves documentation, medication administration, and patient advocacy.

• Provide patient care in accordance with scope of practice.
• Assist with assessment, data collection, and formulation of a plan of care.
• Perform wound care procedures and specimen collection.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Document all nursing activities.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, nutrition, ambulation).
• Monitor and communicate patient status to RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well‑being.
• Schedule appointments and procedures; obtain insurance re‑authorizations.

• Current Kentucky (or compact state) LPN license.
• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Critical‑thinking skills and decisive judgment; ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to work in a stressful environment.
