• Direct patient care under the direction, delegation, and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Document patient care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to supervising RN.
• Maintain a positive professional relationship with patients, families, coworkers, and the health care team.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual or psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient or family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Must be currently enrolled in an approved school of nursing, be a third‑year student or higher, and graduate within 13 months of hire.
• Must be in good standing with the approved school of nursing and clinically competent to perform the duties described above.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BCLS) required.
