American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring BLS, ACLS, and at least 2 years of cath lab experience.

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of an acute care hospital
• Adult patient population with common diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain
• Uses Mac Lab equipment and EHR system
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call responsibilities required every 3rd weekday and every 3rd weekend
• No floating required

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
• Required skills:
  
  L/R Heart Cath, FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures
• Mac Lab experience preferred

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and support related diagnostic and interventional cases
• Orientation conducted on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month
• Scrub color requirement: navy or royal blue
• Open-toed footwear not permitted
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
• Candidates who worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time during the assignment
