Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine's Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is recruiting a full‑time oral maxillofacial surgeon to serve as Chief of Oral Health, a division of the Department of Surgery.
OverviewThis position involves participation in an active full‑scope oral & maxillofacial surgery practice and administrative oversight for OMFS and Dentistry. The role includes administrative oversight of clinical practices, didactic and clinical resident training, outreach, philanthropic efforts, and may involve community organization partnership. The division also provides support and promotion of clinically based research, with endowments for academic pursuits. It oversees a general practice residency and an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency.
Responsibilities- Administrative oversight of clinical practices and resident training
- Support and promotion of clinically based research
- Oversight of community outreach and philanthropic efforts
- Collaboration with community organizations
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine (DMD) degree
- Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor (experience and credentials consistent with an academic appointment)
- Competitive starting compensation between $159,000 – $985,945 (salary based on academic rank and experience)
