Oncology - Radiation Physician

Hospital is seeking a Board Certified, MSK Fellowship
-Trained faculty member to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging.

Job Description:

• Looking for full time provider M-F 8a-5p.
• The candidate will join a growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services.
• Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology and fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK)
• Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging.
• This is an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsy
• Practice setting is hospital-based
• Average Number of Cases Per Day:
  Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs/CT/Ultrasound
• Number of Radiologists in Practice:
  Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE
• Teleradiology is not used for MSK
• Patient Age Demographic:
  All ages, but pediatrics not required
• There are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested.
• EMR:
  Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate
• Credentialing timeline: usually 2-3 months (depends on if physician has IL license in hand or not)
