Nuclear Med Tech, Days – Trinity Health

Loyola Medical Center, Maywood, IL – Western suburbs of Chicago, approximately 35 minutes from downtown Chicago.

Full time

Day Shift – Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift; rotating weekends and holidays among the Nuclear Medicine team.

The Nuclear Med Technologist is responsible for coordinating, directing, and implementing patient care delivery of Nuclear Medicine procedures. This role works in conjunction with the Director of Medical Imaging Services and Senior Nuclear Medicine Tech, performing technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for computerized tomographic diagnosis.

• Coordinate and direct nuclear medicine procedures.
• Implement patient care delivery in nuclear medicine.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for computerized tomographic diagnosis.
• Collaborate with Director of Medical Imaging Services and Senior Nuclear Medicine Tech.

• Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
• Less than one year of previous job‑related experience.
• Accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.

• Basic Life Support (CPR) from the American Heart Association.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), Registered by NMTCB.
• License by IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety, Illinois.

$37.00 – $57.00 per hour (Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, licensure, certification, and location).
