Loyola Medical Center in the western suburbs of Chicago, approximately 35 minutes from downtown Chicago with easy access from I‑290 and I‑55.

Part time

Night Shift – 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, every other weekend, with flexible shifts as needed.

Radiographer I performs diagnostic imaging procedures at a technical level without requiring supervision of technical detail. Performs technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and innovation to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.

• Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines to provide physicians with the highest quality diagnostic images.
• Assist the Radiologist during radiographic procedures to expedite patient care and quality of life.
• Assess plans, provide intervention, and evaluate care for each patient based on age to avoid unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Prepare equipment and supplies necessary for radiographic procedures and perform daily tasks to ensure patient safety.

• Associate’s Degree or AAS in Radiologic Technology.
• Less than one year of previous job-related experience.
• New graduates welcome to apply.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – must hold ARRT certification.
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA).
• CPR from American Heart Association.
• Registered Radiographic Technologist.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT within 3 months of hire.
• For applicants certified by ARRT prior to 2015, an associate degree may not be required.

$30.00 – $46.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparison to similar roles.
