ShiftNight Shift – 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, every other weekend, with flexible shifts as needed.
Hours- Nights PT 0.3 FTE or Registry Available
Radiographer I performs diagnostic imaging procedures at a technical level without requiring supervision of technical detail. Performs technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and innovation to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
What You’ll Do- Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines to provide physicians with the highest quality diagnostic images.
- Assist the Radiologist during radiographic procedures to expedite patient care and quality of life.
- Assess plans, provide intervention, and evaluate care for each patient based on age to avoid unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Prepare equipment and supplies necessary for radiographic procedures and perform daily tasks to ensure patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or AAS in Radiologic Technology.
- Less than one year of previous job-related experience.
- New graduates welcome to apply.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – must hold ARRT certification.
- Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA).
- CPR from American Heart Association.
- Registered Radiographic Technologist.
- New graduates must obtain ARRT within 3 months of hire.
- For applicants certified by ARRT prior to 2015, an associate degree may not be required.

$30.00 – $46.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparison to similar roles.
