Loyola University Medical Center is part of a three-hospital system that includes Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and Mac Neal Hospital. This EMT (Basic) position allows you to deliver compassionate care and improve the lives of patients in our communities.
Employment TypeFull-time. Rotating Shift.
What You’ll Do- Transport sick and/or injured patients to or between appropriate medical facilities and/or residence.
- Actively participate in the safe delivery of patient care and maintain a safe environment for all patients.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance check and cleaning.
- Replenish medical equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and properly operate all communications equipment to ensure efficient, constant, and appropriate contact with the communications department.
- Respond to all requests for service in an optimal manner and with the priority of response as directed by the dispatcher.
- Valid IDPH EMT Basic License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Illinois State Driver’s License
- CPR/BLS - American Heart Association
Pay Range: $16.49 – $24.44 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, and certification.
