Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The position is located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago at Loyola University Medical Center.
What You Will Do
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, current symptoms, and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform initial triage to prioritize patient care and determine appropriate next steps for treatment or referral.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and manage patient treatments and follow‑ups.
- Provide education to patients and families about managing health conditions, medication, and lifestyle changes, and offer emotional support.
- Maintain accurate records, chart care provided, document interactions, and manage appointment scheduling and other administrative duties.
What You Will Need
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school (BSN or ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association, required before hire
- Current Registered Nurse License in the state of Illinois
- 1‑2 years of previous experience in a clinical setting
Compensation
:
Salary Range $29.78 – $48.84 per hour (actual compensation will fall within this range and may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles).
