Controller

The Controller provides strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's accounting function. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, managing day-to-day accounting operations, strengthening internal controls, and supporting executive leadership with financial analysis and recommendations. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead and develop the accounting team while overseeing daily accounting operations
• Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and financial reporting
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee account reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records
• Monitor fixed assets and other key accounting functions
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Progressive accounting leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proven ability to improve processes and implement operational efficiencies
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
• Experience presenting financial information to executive leadership and stakeholders

Salary range for the Controller is $90k-$120k+/year based on experience.
