About the Role

The MIS Tech plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the organization’s Management Information Systems to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reporting. This position is responsible for maintaining system integrity, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting end‑users to maximize operational efficiency. The MIS Tech collaborates closely with various departments to understand their data needs and implements solutions that enhance decision‑making processes.

By continuously monitoring system performance and implementing upgrades, the MIS Tech ensures that the organization’s information infrastructure remains robust and secure. Ultimately, this role contributes to the organization’s success by providing reliable, timely, and actionable information through effective management of MIS technologies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience working with Management Information Systems or similar data management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of database management, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with SQL, Microsoft Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python or VBA.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified:
    Data Analyst Associate.
  • Experience in a corporate or enterprise environment supporting large‑scale MIS implementations.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices related to data management systems.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support the organization’s Management Information Systems, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MIS hardware, software, and network components.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and develop customized MIS solutions.
  • Perform regular system audits, backups, and updates to safeguard data integrity and security.
  • Train and assist end‑users in utilizing MIS tools effectively to enhance productivity.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.
  • Generate and distribute reports that support business operations and strategic planning.

The MIS Tech utilizes technical skills daily to maintain and optimize information systems, ensuring data accuracy and system uptime. Analytical skills are essential for interpreting data trends and generating meaningful reports that inform business decisions.
