Security Role

Preferred qualifications include additional certifications such as CPR, first aid, or self-defense training, experience with advanced security technology including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm monitoring, prior experience in emergency response or law enforcement, excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, and familiarity with federal and state security regulations and compliance standards.
Responsibilities include monitoring surveillance equipment and conducting regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises, controlling access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor logs to prevent unauthorized entry, responding swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary, conducting risk assessments and recommending improvements to security protocols and infrastructure, and maintaining accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, preparing detailed reports for management review.
Required skills such as vigilance, quick decision-making, and effective communication are essential for daily monitoring and incident response activities.
