Printing company in Santa Teresa, TX 79932 is seeking a qualified Accountant to work part time temporarily for them in bookkeeping. Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, have Accountant certification and an associates degree in accounting.

Part Time Accountant
- Santa Teresa Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 19.00 / hour
• Part Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:30am to 12:30pm)

1. Manage all accounting functions for 2 offices, including bookkeeping, and financial reporting

2. Ensures proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with GAAP

3. Responsible for the monthly general ledger close process including preparation of the journal entries, monthly accruals, and balance sheets reconciliations in the areas of responsibility.

4. Prepares schedules, supporting documents, and variance analyses for management.

5. Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the related calculations and processes.

6. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

7. Perform and/or review account reconciliations and other accounting analyses to support effective financial reporting.

8. Coordination with outside auditors and preparation of documents for the annual audit, including year-end tax audits, workers compensation audits, 401(k) audits, etc.

Proficiency in English, SAP Systems, Knowledge of GAAP, Financial reporting and Tax Compliance
