** General Statement of Job
** The Support Specialist provides administrative and operational support to the Division of Academic Affairs and Economic Development. Coordinates communication and workflow across multiple departments, manages inventories, space requests, Adjunct Faculty Offices, and Active Learning Classroom operations. Assists with planning events and meetings.

Monitors project progress, prepares reports, and collaborates with division staff to ensure efficient and effective academic operations.
** Specific Duties and Responsibilities
***
* Essential Functions:

*** Assists with division-wide projects, schedules, and operational initiatives for the division of Academic Affairs and Economic Development division.
* Coordinates and facilitates communications, planning, and follow-up on duties, responsibilities, tasks, projects, and administrative matters with all Academic Affairs divisions/departments.
* Assists with preparing and tracking reports and target completion dates and manages and monitors multiple concurrent projects.
* Inspects and reports Active Learning Classroom furniture to ensure proper working order.
* Monitors scheduling of events and courses for the Active Learning Classrooms and collaborates with faculty, support staff, and campus scheduling team.
* Assists with monitoring and updating the Adjunct Faculty Offices district-wide.
* Submit work orders, space modifications, and data drop requests.
* Maintains inventory records for computer equipment, software, furniture, and office assignments for Provost’s office.
* Prepares inventory workflows and conducts physical inventory audits for the Academic Affairs and Economic Development division.
* Assists with planning, organizing, and coordinating event functions including division meetings, staff meetings, on-site visits, special events, commencement, and Adjunct Faculty Job Fair as assigned.
* Collaborate with multiple staff from various divisions to support projects, initiatives, and strategic efforts for the Academic Affairs and Economic Development division.
* Provides weekly and monthly reports on assigned projects and initiatives.
* Handles inquiries and exercises sound judgment in referral of inquiries to appropriate staff.
* Travels throughout the college district, as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
*** Bachelor’s degree required.
* At least two (2) years of related experience in a professional work setting preferred.
* Experience in a higher education institution, preferred.
