POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for scanning documents and accurately inputting, updating and maintaining information from various sources into computer systems, requiring meticulous attention to detail and the ability to follow established data entry procedures to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality, often including tasks like verifying data and maintaining organized records within database.

POSITION EDUCATION/

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry software
  • Proven experience in data entry or similar administrative role is preferred
  • Knowledge of Symplr software is preferred

  • Communication - communicates clearly and concisely
  • Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees
  • PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
  • Document Imaging - demonstrates proficiency in document imaging.
  • Policies & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
  • Basic skills - able to perform basic punctuate properly and spell correctly.
Responsibilities:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices
  • Enter and update data accurately and efficiently into the company's database and systems.
  • Verify and review data for errors, inconsistencies or discrepancies.
  • Sort, organize, and file physical and digital documents as needed.
  • Scan physical file and upload document to Symplr software.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Follow established data entry procedures and guidelines
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance data entry efficiency.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Provide excellent customer service to all DHR customers. All employees are required to attend the DHR C.A.R.E.S program which outlines the Customer Service Principals including:
Commitment, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Service.

AGE SPECIFIC:

Employees must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirement relative to his or her age.
