- Clerical South Texas Community Living is now hiring a Full-Time Administrative Assistant for our McAllen Region to assist in the daily clerical operations of the regional office, as well as day services in adjacent adult day programs.

STCL house and serve over 300 individuals with intellectual disabilities statewide in group homes, natural-residential settings, and in the foster care model from six regional satellite offices.

Shift: Monday
- Friday

Hours:

8:00AM - 5:00PM

Administrative Assistant duties include:
  • Office receptionist.
  • Answer phones, distribute phone messages hourly.
  • Open and distribute mail daily.
  • Collect and organize payroll and related service documentation to submit to corporate office weekly.
  • Collect, organize, and submit to corporate office purchase requests and receipts for varying types of purchases.
  • Assist in scheduling a variety of events for employees and individuals served.
  • Assist all personnel in maintaining budgets for a variety of purchases.
  • Assist in securing specialized disability transportation services.
  • Assist in pre-employee screening of applicants and post-hire processing of new employees.
  • Coordinate outside services to address problems with utilities, basic repairs, transportation, etc.
  • Coordinate grocery shopping for group homes.
  • Participate in ongoing communication with employees, corporate staff, parents of individuals served, and other outside service professionals.

Qualifications:
  • Valid and current Texas Driver's License
  • Clear Background Check
  • Clear DMV Check
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of Education
  • No confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled person
  • No history of Medicaid fraud.
