Weatherization Coordinator

Overview

Coordinate and manage assessments of homes for service eligibility and entry into the Weatherization program. Other duties include working with other Weatherization team members and contractors to successfully implement service delivery goals. Complete, review, and interpret a variety of funding source materials. Maintain familiarity with a variety of policies, procedures, terminology and applicable laws in order to obtain necessary data and meet Weatherization Program requirements.

Coordinate duties with staff on a daily basis. Attend training as required in order to execute program service requirements.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year’s employment in construction
• Strong management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work as a team member
• Possess basic computer skills, good writing and oral communicative skills.
• Able to maintain records, assist with or initiate computer generated reports, and clearly understand written or verbal instruction
• Willing to attend on‑going appropriate training which may require occasional out‑of‑town travel and/or overnight stay
• Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Safe driving record
• Pass a pre‑employment physical and criminal history background check.

• Light to medium physical duties include standing, walking, reaching, bending, hearing, talking for up to eight (8) hours a day.
• Must have good vision
• Must be able to lift thirty‑five pounds
  • Lifting will be primarily confined to occasional on premises lifting of boxes of office supplies and minor office equipment.
• Non-physical demands include performing multiple tasks simultaneously, the ability to meet multiple deadlines, judgment decisions and working closely with others as part of a team.

If a preliminary offer of employment is extended, a physical will be required before the offer can be accepted.
