Bilingual Customer Service Representative

• Review policy information to determine whether the risk meets the company's underwriting guidelines and processes
• Serve as the primary contact for insureds, agents, and lien holders regarding policy-related inquiries
• Provide superior customer service and offer solutions or options within company guidelines
• Periodically attend office-based training or meetings as needed
• Assist agencies and customers with questions and changes to insurance policies

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months previous customer service experience required
• Call Center and/or insurance-related experience preferred
• Fluent Spanish/English communication skills preferred
• Pleasant telephone demeanor
• Multitasking skills required
• PC experience with 3,000 KSH or 25 WPM with an error ratio of less than 5% required
• Successfully completes all required new hire training as per Departmental guidelines
• Required to work in the McAllen, TX office location

Demonstrates strong customer service skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English, while adhering to underwriting guidelines and providing solutions to policy-related inquiries. Proficient in multitasking and maintaining a pleasant demeanor in a call center environment.
