Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Dentist to join our clinic in McAllen, TX. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in dental care while contributing to the professional development of students in a clinical classroom setting. The role is designed to integrate patient care with educational excellence, ensuring a dual impact on community health and student learning.
Responsibilities- Perform dental procedures on live patients with students observing and assisting under supervision.
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions, including gum disease and tooth decay.
- Conduct preventive services, caps, bridges, fillings, basic extractions, and dentures.
- Refer complex cases to specialists such as orthodontists and oral maxillofacial surgeons.
- Collaborate with experienced instructors to supervise and mentor students effectively.
- Maintain a patient-focused approach while fostering a professional and educational environment for students and staff.
- Work alongside clinic manager for administrative aspects, allowing focus on patient care.
- Licensed Dentist in the State of Texas and the United States.
- Specialization in oral health with a proven track record of clinical excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive dental procedures, including preventive care, restorative treatments, and basic extractions.
- Proficiency in referring complex cases to specialists as needed.
- Exceptional chairside manner and professional interaction with patients, students, and staff.
- Commitment to integrity, patience, and mentorship in a clinical and educational setting.
- Experience working within a structured and collaborative healthcare environment.
