Annual Emergency Department Volume:  42,000

Physician Coverage:  36 hours daily

Advanced Practice Provider Coverage:  36 hours daily

Shift Length:  12-hour shifts

Emergency Medicine Physician Qualifications

Board Eligible or Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM/AOBEM)

Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain – Texas physician jobs

Minimum 1 year of clinical emergency medicine experience preferred

Ability to excel in high-volume ED settings

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Emergency Physician Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to diverse patient populations

Collaborate with advanced practice providers and emergency department staff

Stabilize and manage acute medical and trauma cases

Accurately document patient care and clinical procedures

Engage in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives
