McAllen, TX Overview We are seeking an experienced Anatomic & Clinical Pathology Market Medical Director to lead a well-established pathology practice serving a regional healthcare network in South Texas. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a board-certified pathologist with strong expertise in general surgical pathology, frozen sections, and clinical pathology who is looking to play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care across a growing healthcare market.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians, hospital leadership, and laboratory professionals while overseeing pathology services in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. Qualifications Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) Minimum of three years of hospital-based pathology experience preferred Strong proficiency in:
General Surgical Pathology Clinical pathology interpretations Frozen section procedures Subspecialty fellowship training is preferred but not required Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams Active Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one Compensation & Benefits A competitive compensation package includes:
