Description
We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s student body as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor – Open Rank School of Nursing, beginning in the 2026‑2027 academic year.
Minimum Qualifications- Terminal degree (PhD, DNP, EdD) from an accredited institution and an unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state of Texas or ability to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
- In addition, the applicant must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Distinguished record of achievement in teaching, academic research/scholarly projects, external research funding, publication in nursing or related field, and service to the profession.
- Master’s of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Distinguished record of achievement in teaching, academic research/scholarly projects, external research funding, publication in nursing or related field, and service to the profession.
- Master’s of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
