Description
Halff has an immediate opening for an Electrical Designer supporting our Electrical Engineering department in San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and McAllen, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with power and lighting design concepts and must be capable of performing routine calculations, equipment layout, lighting selection and photometrics calculations, circuiting electrical panels, and electrical feeder schedules under supervision of senior staff.

What you will do:
- Design, layout, and circuiting of equipment for electrical systems, (i.e. lighting systems, lighting controls, circuiting HVAC and Plumbing equipment, etc.)
- Set-up drawing sheets in REVIT, develop panel schedules, and develop one-line diagrams
- Assisting in estimated project construction cost and specification writing is a plus
What you will need:
- Minimum 2 years experience designing electrical systems
- Experience with REVIT
- Working knowledge of NEC and IESNA
- Working knowledge of ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC
- Associates Degree in related field is required;
Bachelor s degree is a plus
