Mechanical Designer - Austin, TX

Halff has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Designer supporting our Mechanical Engineering department in San Antonio, Houston, Austin, McAllen, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with HVAC air and hydronic concepts and must be capable of performing routine calculations, equipment layout, and basic equipment under supervision of senior staff. • Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems
• Set-up drawing sheets in REVIT, develop equipment schedules, and run basic calculations
• Assisting in estimated project construction cost and specification writing

• Minimum 2 years experience designing HVAC and hydronic systems
• Experience with Trane Trace 3D
• Must have experience with Revit experience
• Associates Degree in related field is required;
  Bachelor s degree is a plus
• Working knowledge of IMC and other related codes
