Computer Aided Design Technician

Perez Consulting Engineers is looking for a full-time, advanced level Civil Engineering Drafter/Designer. In this position, you will find yourself working in an environment that promotes teamwork, helping with the expansion of your personal knowledge.

The proposed candidate will report immediately to the project engineer or supervisor.

• Draft/Design using Autodesk Civil 3D to produce sketches, plans, maps, redline markups, survey drawings, As-Builts, and exhibits as requested by the engineer's directions.
• Perform typical drafting calculations.
• Helping with Construction Cost estimates
• Attend meetings (virtual/in person)
• Site Visits (when necessary).

• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D modeling and drafting.
• 6+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering Drafting/Designing
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Texas Drivers license

• 2-year Associate degree or a Certificate in drafting or a relevant field with exposure to Civil 3D.
• Strong analytical and computation skills

• Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm with a lunch break at 12 noon)
