Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the Chemical Dependency unit, also known as BH6. Be responsible for creating an appropriate curriculum and monitor program outcomes. Coordinate with the DCS and DON on staffing needs and outcome of audits and education. Provide staff education and training as needed to perform duties at the necessary level of this program. Conduct periodic EOC rounds.
Assist with marketing the program and oversee contracts with referral sources and insurance companies.
- Minimum of 2 years experience post exam
- Prior referral development, strategic planning, systems development, and staff management experience.
- Prefer knowledge of the Texas behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical diagnoses & symptomology, age specific programming.
- Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
