Job Description

Action Behavior Centers (ABC) is seeking certified Registered Behavior Technicians to join our clinic team in McAllen, TX. In this role, you’ll provide meaningful, play‑based ABA therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment that truly values your skills, experience, and growth.

Location: 4314 N 10th St, McAllen, TX 78504

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, daytime hours (8 am‑5 pm). May volunteer for occasional Saturday sessions based on patient needs.
• Position Type: Full‑Time

Certification

Required:

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (RBT exam already passed).

• Work one‑on‑one with children aged 18 months to 8 years using play‑based ABA therapy.
• Follow individualized treatment plans, collect simple data, and communicate with your team.
• Help kids learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands‑on activities.
• Stay active during sessions, moving constantly to stay engaged with children.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy space.
• Be part of a supportive, mission‑driven team that celebrates progress and growth.

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification – must be active.
• RBT exam already passed.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible, agile with standing, crouching, squatting, and moving while working with young children.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Commitment to ABC’s core value of teamwork; may help support a nearby sister clinic when needed.

• High School/Associate’s Degree: $15.00–$22.50 per hour.
• Bachelor’s Degree: $15.00–$24.00 per hour.
• Master’s Degree: $16.00–$26.00 per hour.
