Experience:

Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience.
License: RCIS or RAD required.

Certifications:

BLS and ACLS required.

Must-Have:

- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or years of equivalent experience required.

Description:

The Cath Lab technician works in a multidisciplinary lab.
They support patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures.
The technician performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment.
They apply prescribed procedures for operating radiology imaging equipment.
Experience in other specialties is a plus.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, starting between 7 and 8:00 am with variable start times.
There is a call schedule of approximately one weekend a month and one day a week.
