- Lead and support teams by coordinating work assignments and sharing resources to meet business priorities.
- Supervise associates by assigning duties, providing feedback, and monitoring performance to ensure quality and compliance.
- Maintain safety and quality standards by ensuring equipment and supplies are functional and available.
- Manage landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, pest control, and garden maintenance using horticultural methods.
- Utilize technology to complete work orders, maintain records, and support documentation.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to associates, fostering continuous improvement and adherence to policies.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to identify needs and implement effective facility solutions.
- Proven leadership experience in supervising and developing teams within facility or exterior services environments.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, including landscape management, planting, pruning, and pest control.
- Ability to coordinate and execute work assignments while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA and DOT.
- Skilled in using technology to manage work orders, maintain records, and support operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills to provide feedback, training, and support to associates.
- Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and quality standards in all activities.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and customer service orientation to resolve issues effectively.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Valid, state‑issued driver’s license.
- No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three years.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
- No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
- No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
- Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification within 90 days of hire.
- As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
- 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.
- Associate’s degree in horticulture or related area.
- Certified nursery and/or landscape professional.
- Intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Landscaping/gardening crew leader or supervisor.
- Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish.
- State/local licensing where required (e.g., Florida, Texas, California).
