Material Handler

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Material Handler work in the McAllen, TX area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance and paid time off.

• Must pass all Work Keys testing requirements prior to accepting the position.
• Must become, and remain, Forklift Qualified, which requires passing a Written Qualification Test and an observed Practical Test for the specific type of forklift(s) used on the job.
• Successful completion allows immediate assumption of the position.

Depending on the operation, the candidate will use any or all of the following tools as applicable:

• Utility knife
• Common hand tools
• Air nailer
• Stapler
• Drill
• Table saw and other types of saws
• Tape machine
• Tape measure
• Bander

Depending on the operation, the candidate will use any or all of the following machines and equipment as applicable:

• Forklift
• Standup lift
• Picker
• Scale
• Crane
• Pallet jack
• CRT terminal
• Bar coding equipment
• DHL, UPS, and RPS scales

• Ability to recognize and identify many different parts.
• Research and identify part shortages and inventory problems.
• Able to lift heavy weights up to 70 pounds repetitively and climb ladders repeatedly.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to learn to read documentation accurately.
• Ability to learn Liebert Enterprise System (LES).
• Detail-oriented.
• Must be able to work flexible and sometimes long hours as required on the job.
• Maintain regular attendance and have the ability to work in a team environment.
