Summary:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists the department in providing Office Site surveys for PHO members. Assists the department in providing OSHA training to PHO members' staff at their site. Assists in providing other benefits to PHO members as needed.
POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Nursing preferred
- Five (5) years in venues of physician and medical staff interaction and healthcare preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of practice management required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Good written and verbal communication skills required.
- Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices
- Assists department with other duties and issues as necessary.
- Provides excellent customer service to all customers and DHR PHO Members.
- Must be well organized for prioritization of responsibilities.
- Must be able to handle stress relative to rush projects and meeting deadlines. Must be able to work under pressure in a highly a productive office.
- Must be able to cope with interruptions, varying personalities and some irregular hours.
- Must possess organizational and communication skills.
- Must possess willingness to improve.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
- Establishes effective communications and positive working relationships with PHO staff as well as practice office staff.
- Schedules Office Site surveys with administrator or manager of practice for one location.
- Communicates with the Practice needed documents.
- Performs on-site practice reviews, including medical record review as per written format.
- Communicates findings to practice administrators of each individual practice.
- Assists practices with presentation of required staff education as necessary.
- Maintains files of Office Site Surveys performed
- All other assigned duties.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Provide excellent customer service to all DHR customers. All employees are required to attend the DHR C.A.R.E.S program which outlines the Customer Service Principals including:
Commitment, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Service.

Employees must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirement relative to his or her age.
