Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The RN will work in a supportive, collaborative environment.

• Apply aseptic technique and ensure maintenance of a sterile field while assisting in procedures or prepping patients for surgery.
• Demonstrate knowledge of which areas need to be prepped for each type of procedure.
• Assess the patient prior to surgery, confirm patient understanding of the procedure, and ensure a “timeout” is performed before any procedure with the perioperative team.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.
• Be accountable for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an RN in an operating room setting.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days of hire).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
