Responsibilities
Under the guidance and supervision of the Director, the clinical associate will perform retrospective reviews for payors, utilizing the current documentation system and enter the appropriate ICD/CPT and DRG when indicated. The role may require work on weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call/call-back status. The associate must demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
Qualifications- 5 years of varied clinical experience.
- Basic computer skills required; additional college hours preferred.
- Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, attendance at required training, and immediate reporting of suspected compliance issues to the Compliance Officer.
- LVN licensed in the State of TX.
- Coding experience preferred, inpatient or outpatient.
