Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology & Vascular Medicine

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team serving McAllen, Edinburg, and the Rio Grande Valley
.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiology or vascular medicine
, although we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong interest in this specialty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient care
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Provide ongoing management of cardiovascular risk factors
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Vascular Medicine Focus
  • Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD/PAD)
  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
  • Venous Insufficiency & Venous Disease
  • Carotid Artery Disease
  • Cardiovascular Risk Factor Management
  • Limb Preservation & Amputation Prevention
Qualifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification
  • Current APRN/NP credentials required
  • Cardiology or vascular experience preferred
  • Acute Care NP experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
