Scope of Job Compensation & Benefits

This trainee position is designed for individuals pursuing research as a vital part of their educational and professional development. The fellow will work under minimal supervision with some latitude for initiative and independent judgment in research and/or teaching activities.

Description Of Duties
  • Developing, testing, and analyzing research projects aligned with expertise and interests.
  • Assisting in the creation and dissemination of survey instruments.
  • Writing narrative summaries and research reports under faculty supervision.
  • Conducting background research and developing evaluation plans.
  • Implementing training activities as required.
  • Teaching one to two courses per semester (if assigned).
  • Publishing in peer-reviewed journals related to assigned research.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Education:

    Doctoral degree in Physics, Astronomy, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
