Position Overview:

The Cook plays a key role in executing our menu with precision and consistency. This position is responsible for preparing dishes to Altura Concepts’ standards, maintaining a clean and organized station, and working closely with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items following Altura Concepts’ recipes and quality standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations before, during, and after service.
• Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to meet brand expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all work areas.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to support kitchen efficiency.
• Follow portion control guidelines to reduce waste and maintain consistency.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable working in a hot, busy kitchen environment.
