Store Environment Team Member

Store - MCALLEN, TX

• Collect and dispose trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and return products to correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment, including mixing water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions per specifications.
• Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, break rooms, entryways and other high‑traffic areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, even in difficult situations, in keeping with the organization’s vision and values.
• Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.

• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• If needed, obtain reasonable accommodations for essential functions of the job.
• Work in a public retail store setting; all public areas are climate controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work may be assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks; frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
• Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
