Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate

Hourly wage: $10.75 to $13.00 per hour, plus commission up to 8% on transactions.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. The associate partners with the store staff to provide customer service for lending and retail sides, handling sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves engaging customers, answering inquiries, and resolving problems.

• Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintain clean and stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Execute sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle all cash and negotiable items securely.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Collaborate with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to perform tasks for extended periods per federal, state, and local law (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance.
