Full-Time Retail Sales Associate / Pawnbroker

$10.75 to $13.00 per hour. Commission up to 8% on transactions.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role includes greeting customers, processing sales and loan transactions, maintaining the sales floor, handling cash and negotiable items, and ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory policies.

• Greet and interact with all customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and ensure merchandise displays are maintained.
• Process sales and loan transactions in line with established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle all cash and negotiable items per company policy.
• Answer incoming calls according to company standards.
• Communicate the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully complete assigned training.
• Perform any related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required.
• May be asked to assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve items from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
